These 3 Daily Practices Will Shift Your Reality Instantly
Introduction
In this blog post I am going to be talking about three of the most effective exercises that really helped me solidify my belief in the existence of psychic, paranormal penomena and the power of awareness. These exercises are super easy and require nothing to do but your focused attention and a few minutes of your time daily. These exercises will shift your perception on how reality operates within days after you start using them.
The hardest part of using the law of assumption, in my opinion, would the period of time between setting your very first intentions and the moment you see your very first manifestation come into fruition, for a newbie in the use of "The Law" this can feel like it takes for ever, especially if you have no prior evidence or proof it even works.
Manifestation is not just a concept; it’s a practice. How we interact with reality daily, the mental and emotional habits we cultivate, and intentional exercises we perform can literally shift our experience. It all boils down to who you are being and who you intend to become in the near future.

As I said earlier, the very first days were the hardest for me, I was a seeing is believing type of person my whole life, I still think I am, and working on it, but that the reason I am writing this blog. See, back then I had wished there was a way I could see for myself the power of awareness without having to wait months to years for my manifestations to show up.
There is this common saying that goes along the lines of; the more you use the law to consciously manifest, the more confident you feel in your ability to co-create reality and therefore the better you become at co-creating. These exercises are going to help you with just that, but the results will manifest instantly or take up to a week, depending on what you are visualizing and your current state of being, and limiting beliefs.
With all that be said; Here are three daily exercises I use to train my mind, body, and energy to align with desires. These are practical tools for rewiring perception and creating the reality you intend.
Exercise 1: The Leaf Exercise

This is a mental counting exercise focused on inner abundance, I learned this one from Elmer O. Locker Jr. Who taught this on his Youtube Channel, basically the idea behind it is to use self-awareness to determmine exactly the level of money blocks you subconscious is holding on to, this exercise will bring them all to the surface so you can see them and decide what to do with them.
Essentially all you need to do is;
- Visualize bills, your preferred currency (not coins but paper denominations).
- Count them consciously mentally, one after another with imaginary hands in your mind, with focus with your eyes closed.
- Feel and allow any visions, weight, sounds, and sensations that will arise in your minds eye.
Resistance may appear — distractions, doubts, or mental chatter. Personally I would feel a hand pop up and try to grab my hands as if yo try and stop me, other times something easier, and more exciting will tug at my attention. Usually when this happens Elmer advices you to keep going. The idea being to keep hacking at the money block/limiting belief until the subconscious recognizes the new abundance signals from the bills being counted regardless of the resistance old patterns are posing.
Count the bills in stacks of 100, whenever you get distracted by the mental and emotional resistance restart the count from zero. Here is how I do it, I count in my imagination one hundred $100 bills into ten stacks, if I get distracted before a stack gets to the 100th bill I restart from 0 as I would if I lost count with actual money. Thats 100 reps of 10 sets, a reset for every error or distraction.
The purpose is to train the subconscious to recognize abundance as real. By vividly imagining money with feeling, you magnetize financial opportunities and alignment in your reality. Consistency daily reinforces neural pathways connecting your energy to wealth while simultaneously building full body level self-awareness in the process.
Exercise 2: The Ten-Second Exercise

This second exercise I learned from both Elmer and Esther Hicks, the idea is that it takes a few seconds to impress a new idea or belief unto the subconscious mind. This exercise allows you a 10 second window to impress whatever it is you desire unto the subconscious atleast 3 times a day.
This is how to practice The Ten-Second Exercise;
- Hold your wish fulfilled for ten seconds — imagine it as already manifested. I usually preface to think of the wish fulfilled as a memory of a future even that will happen soon, like rememmbering a memory from 30 minutues from now instead of 30 minutes ago.
- Feel it completely — joy, relief, gratitude, worry, fear or anxiety. The idea is that all energy is manifestation energy, regardless of how you feel at the point of intention, the results will be exactly as desired. Provided you remain steadfast with what you desire regardless of how you feel about it.
- Release and repeat multiple times daily.
Ten seconds in a relaxed, receptive alpha brainwave state (i.e. flow state, state akin to sleep, or the athlete's zone) is sufficient to imprint desire into your subconscious. This practice signals your brain and energy field that your wish is real and attainable, aligning vibration with manifestation.
The Ten-Second Exercise can take up to a few days before you will start to see results, you will notice that visualizing scene will become easier and less stressful to keep up.
Exercise 3: The Benefit Affirmation Exercise

This exercise is from my shadow work alchemy practice which is also heavily inspired by Elmers teachings. The idea is to directly and aggressively turns lower vibrational energies into higher ones using this foolproof affirmation;
- When you are going through your day and you observe nagativity, pause, decide never to fight or resist it.
- Repeat this calmmy through the emotional storm — "This is all for my benefit and is leading me to the wish fulfilled".
- The subconscious is a faculty of habit but not logic, and will always give way to whatever you feed it, in this case we are using affirmation to tell it that all negativity is to be seen as fuel boosting us to the wish fulfilled.
Manifestation needs 3 things to work;
- A desire as a thought (words, images, or visual scenes) "future memory".
- A belief that the desire is already fulfilled.
- An emotion - good, bad or indifferent that acts like cement fusing thoughts and desires unto the subconscious.
Once these 3 requirements have been met, it can take between an hour to 2 weeks for your intention to manifest, these numbers will vary depending on the level of blocks and limiting beliefs one has to navigate to attain the ideal state of being/self-image of the version of you that already has it.
Why These Exercises Work
All three exercises share a key principle: emotionally feeling your desires as real. The brain and subconscious cannot distinguish vivid imagination from reality. Consistent practice:
- Reprograms the subconscious to accept abundance, success, or fulfillment as normal.
- Aligns your energies (good or bad feelings) with the reality you want.
- Creates neural pathways reinforcing belief, focus, and expectation.
Making It a Daily Habit
Consistency is crucial. Set aside 5–10 minutes daily:
- Leaf exercise in the morning for abundance consciousness.
- Affirmation exercise all through the day to re-enforce and recalibrate.
- Ten-second exercise before bed to anchor desires in the subconscious.
Over time, you step into your desired state and shift reality from within.
Key principle: Emotionally experiencing desires as real is foundational for manifestation. Practice consistently and pair with affirmations to naturally shift reality.

Summary
- Leaf Exercise: Count money mentally, feel abundance, face resistance patterns.
- Affirmation Exercise: Affirm to the subconscious that all negative emotions; are to be transmuted for your benefit to manifest the wish fulfilled the are resisting. Like friction causing tyres to move forward.
- Ten-Second Exercise: Hold your wish fulfilled in alpha state; imprint desire into subconscious and align vibration.
